BIOGRAPHY

Since 2008 I have been the Conference Director for the Politics and Government Student Research Conference. For the last 8 years we have brought together VCU students and participants from over 35 American and 15 international universities. (see attached photos)

I am also the Faculty Adviser to VCU’s Xi Pi Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society…and I am very pleased to say that our chapter graduated 20 students in our first year since 1999!

In my spare time, I cook spaghetti to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Research (ask me about this!) since 2007 we have raised over $75,000.00.

If I am not at VCU or in the RVA, I can be found on a boat in the bay or the ocean, studying sustainability and conservation while catching fish and watching sunsets…we all need to relax SOMETIME!
