Model United Nations Conference

RAMMUNC I is a model United Nations conference for high school students looking to learn more about global issues, practice public speaking and explore what VCU has to offer.

The conference is organized and led by VCU’s Model United Nations club, RAMMUN, and is sponsored by the College of Humanities and Sciences. It is held in person in the heart of downtown Richmond at VCU’s Monroe Park campus.

Students will spend two days debating topics ranging from the ethics of surveillance technology to the impacts of rising sea levels and climate change. Students will meet in committee sessions, create and share resolutions, race around VCU in a scavenger hunt, attend a movie and game night, and make friends from other Virginia high schools.
