Recent alumnus to serve in the Northam administration

Congratulations to Nathan Dowday, class of '19, who has been appointed by Governor Ralph Northam to serve as the special assistant to the secretary of finance for the state of Virginia.
From the governor's press release:
"Nathan Dowdy has been appointed Special Assistant to the Secretary of Finance. Prior to his appointment, Nathan served as a 2019 Governor’s Fellow in the Office of the Secretary of Finance. Previously, he worked for the Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission and interned for the Secretary of Technology in the McAuliffe administration. A native of Henrico County, Nathan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness from Virginia Commonwealth University."
